Private Tuition and Maritime Courses
Are you preparing to sit for an examination to qualify as a Commercial Boat Skipper or studying for your STCW Officer-in-Charge of a Navigational Watch, Chief Mate or Master Mariner exams? Are you finding it difficult to cope with the pressure of studies and need individual tuition to prepare you for these exams.
We can help you prepare for your examinations by giving you individual attention and even provide training in the comfort of your home or work-place if necessary.
We are currently running training courses for the following Transport Malta Commercial Vessel Qualifications:
General Purpose Hand: Person who assists the master and engineer as a general hand in the working of the vessel.
Boatman: A dual qualification to act as master and/or engineer of vessels less than 10 metres capable of carrying 12 passengers or less.
Boatmaster Grade 2: A dual qualification to act as master and/or engineer of vessels less than 12 metres in length and with engines up to 350 kW.
Boatmaster Grade 1 / Mate (Restricted): Master of vessels less than 24 metres in length.
Mate / Master (Restricted): Mate on a commercial vessel of 24 metres in length and over / Master on a commercial vessel of less than 50 metres in length.
Master: Master of vessels of 50 metres in length and over.
We are also assisting Officer Cadets preparing for their Watchkeeping Exams as well as those officers preparing for their Chief Mate and Master Mariner Orals.
Additional training courses can also be provided to Groups and are accredited by DNV-GL Maritime Academy.
